You are so lucky to be alive and not paralyzed.
I weared a lot at the beginning of my riding some neck support, but also been riding alot without it because it limited head movement so much that it was really dangerous to chance lanes. But gotta try it with my new helmet not, it’s seems that it’s not so “long” and there is more space at the neck.
I’m glad I started on a 250. I did stupid shit like that but you can only do so much with 30HP.

If you were wearing a decent helmet with a visor you probably wouldn’t have broken your face. As for the back and neck, well there is other gear for that which you weren’t wearing. Oh well, shit happens.
